What Is The "Announcements" Topic?

The Announcements Topic is automatically added to your Chat tab for everyone in your SiteDocs account. In addition, every Worker in your SiteDocs account that has been granted App Access will be added to the Announcements Topic by default, so it's a great place to put messages your whole company can read!

Announcements cannot be archived and workers cannot leave the topic, so messages sent in Announcements will be available for every Worker with SiteDocs Access.

Some helpful ways to use Announcements are:

  • Pointing out changes to a Form
  • Announcing a newly added Resource document
  • Welcoming a new Team Member
  • Reminding your Team about deadlines
  • Announcing upcoming training opportunities
