There are many ways to organize your SiteDocs account. With all of the strategies below, it is not necessarily a hard and fast rule that will work for everyone; these are simply strategies that have been effective for other SiteDocs members in the past.

 

Highly Mobile Companies: Broad Location Profiles/Job Site Dropdown List

If your Company is highly mobile, then it may be overwhelming to create new Location Profiles for every single physical job site. In this case, you may want to use broader Location profiles and a custom list to cut down on upkeep time. CLICK HERE for instructions.

 

Highly Mobile Companies: Crew Names/Job Site Dropdown List
With this option, you use your Location profiles as Crew Names (Ex: Supervisor Names or Worker Titles) and a custom list to cut down on upkeep time. CLICK HERE for instructions.

 

Mobile Companies: Job Names/ Numbers, Addresses, or Customer Names
If your company is mobile but your job sites are long-term, then you can use Location Profiles to represent your physical job locations and simply create a new profile for each new project. CLICK HERE for instructions.

 

Stationary Companies: Company Divisions or Facility Sections
Location Profiles don't necessarily need to be literal physical locations. While you can just have a single Location Profile with your Company Name on it, if your company is based in a single facility like a warehouse or a factory, you can use Location Profiles to organize your account into Company Divisions.
