What is a Private Form?
Like the title suggests, a Private Form is a form that is not viewable on other devices in the field. It's a great feature for things like Incident Reports, Disciplinary Actions, and HR-related forms - you know, those forms that only the person who signed it and administrators should see.
How do I make a Private Form?
It's easy! Select the "+ Add Form" button in the Form Builder and you can now choose to build the form as a Standard Form or Private Form.
Remember, you need to select the type of form you want before you begin building a form. Once you've made your selection (Standard or Private), the form will remain in that state.
Who can see a Private Form?
A Private Form is viewable only from the device it originated from and by anyone who has been granted Admin permission. In other words, an Admin login is required to view a Private Form online, either through the Admin Panel or on the Web App.
Who can add a signature and/or revise a Private Form?
When You're A Worker
From the original device the Private Form was signed on, the Worker who created the Form can view, revise, duplicate, and sign a previously signed Private Form. Other devices will not download a previously signed Private Form and therefore it will not be available to other workers on their devices.
From the Web App the Worker who originally signed the Private Form can view, revise, duplicate, and sign a previously signed Private Form. Other Workers are not able to see the Private Form on the Web App when logging in with their own credentials unless they have Admin Access.
When You're An Administrator
From the Admin Panel, Administrators are able to view and sign a previously signed Private Form.
From the Web App, Administrators are able to view, revise, duplicate, and sign a previously signed Private Form. Any Revisions made to the Private Form by an Admin cannot be seen by the Worker who created the original Form.
What happens when I reinstall the app?
Once the app has been re-installed on the device the Private Form originated from, the Private Form will no longer be available. At that point, it will only be available on the Admin Panel or the Web App.
Can you duplicate a Private Form?
Yes. The duplicated form will then also be a Private Form.
Can a Private Form have Drafts?
For sure!
How do I share a Private Form with someone who doesn't have Admin Panel access/login?
Anyone with Admin or SuperAdmin Access can download the form and email it as a PDF.
