Overall Analytics Access

When requesting access to Analytics, there are two main Access Levels: Designer and Viewer. Here's what they mean:

Designer: This is the highest level of Access in Analytics. Designers are able to Edit any Dashboards that have been shared with them and create their own Dashboards. This is the level of Access that we recommend for your Safety Administration Team.

Viewer: Viewers are able to view any Dashboards that are shared with them, but the only part of the Dashboard(s) that they can edit is the Filters applied to the Dashboard(s). This is the level of Access that we recommend for your staff who need access to reports, like Supervisors or Upper Management.

To request access for your staff, contact support@sitedocs.com and give them the First and Last Name, Email Address, and Access Level for each person who needs Access.

Analytics Dashboard Access

When Sharing a Dashboard with other users in your Company, you have the option of deciding their Access Level, which can override their overall Access Level. When in the Share window for each Dashboard, you can choose the Access Level for each person individually. Your Options are Designer, Viewer, and Owner.

Designer and Viewer are the same as described above. Selecting "Make Owner" from the Access Level will transfer ownership of the Dashboard to that user. This means that the user you have chosen will now have the power to decide on Sharing Settings, including Scheduled Reports. There can only be one owner for each Dashboard, and Owners must have Designer access. You'll notice that users who have Viewer access overall will have a greyed-out access dropdown menu.
