What's the difference between Ownership and Designer access?

There are two main features that the Owner of a Dashboard has that a Designer does not. 

1. Dashboard Owners have control over Share Settings.
   This includes:
   - Sharing Dashboards Directly to other users' Analytics accounts
   - Setting up Scheduled Reports to send automated emails for your Dashboards.
2. Dashboard Owners can overwrite shared users' Dashboards.
   - This means that if an Owner Shares a Dashboard with another user and then that user makes changes to their copy, the Owner can overwrite those changes by selecting "Republish" in the Share Window. 
   

How To Transfer Ownership Of A Dashboard

1. Select the Share Icon.
   
2. Select the Dropdown list next to the new Owner's name and choose "Make Owner".
   
3. Select "Republish" to save the change. 
   

NOTE: Once you make someone the owner of your Dashboard, there is no way for you to take Ownership back from your account; they must transfer it back to you manually from their account.
