How To Share Dashboards With Other Users

There are two places where you can share a Dashboard with another SiteDocs Analytics User. Both options will trigger the same window to help you send your Dashboard.

1. From the Dashboards Column on the left side of your Analytics page, select the Menu button () next to the name of the Dashboard you wish to share. Next, select "Share" from the pop-out menu.

Note: If you have already shared the dashboard before, the Share option does not show up in the menu and is replaced with "Republish".

2. Select the Share Icon () in the top right corner of the Dashboard you wish to share.

Once you have done one of these, you will see the Share window. 

To Share to Single Users:

In the share window, you are able to dictate which users to share with. Keep in mind that the text bar at the top of the window can only find users that already exist in your Analytics account. If you need to add a user to your Analytics account in order to share a Dashboard, contact SiteDocs Support at [e-mail] to have them added.

To Share to Your Whole Company:

Simply search for your Company name in the text bar at the top of the share window. Select your company to share the Dashboard with every Analytics user in your company.

Once you've added your Company group to the share list, you can dictate their Permission Level as well.

Remember, if your Dashboard is shared with others, you must republish your Dashboard for everyone to see any changes you have made.

This can be done by re-opening the share window and selecting "Republish".

How do I stop sharing from a user?

To remove access from any user, select the Trash Can icon next to their name and then select "Republish".

What if I don't see the share option?

If the top of your Dashboard looks like this, it means that someone else owns the Dashboard and has shared it with you. To find out who owns the Dashboard, hover your mouse over the name of the Dashboard to see the details about the Shared Dashboard, which includes the owner's information.
