How Do I Know If My Device Has A Mobile Device Manager (MDM)?

Some companies place Mobile Device Management systems on company-provided devices. Depending on the settings of these systems, they can occasionally interfere with the way SiteDocs functions. Here is an example of how to find out whether your device is being managed by an MDM.

Apple Devices

When an MDM is installed on an Apple device, you will see a message like this at the top of your Settings application. With Apple devices, the MDM is installed either by your cellular provider or by Apple Business, depending on how your company set up their MDM.

Android Devices

There are many different options for an MDM on an Android device, so there are no telltale signs that extend over all devices.
