What To Do If A Field Worker Cannot Send Their Forms From Their App To The Admin Panel

It can be frustrating when forms that need to be sent to your admin seem to be stuck on your worker's device. 

  1. Make sure they are connected to a strong wi-fi or cellular data signal.
    • fast.com is a good place to test this. 
    • Anything around 10 Mbps download speed and 5 Mbps upload speed or higher should be sufficient to run SiteDocs. 

  2. Make sure their mobile device is running the most current version of the mobile app. 
    • From either the App Store or Google Play Store they can search for "SiteDocs" and either store, depending on the device, will let them know if there is an update for the app. 
    • The app version they are using can be found under Settings-> About on the Home Page of the app. 

  3. Once you have ensured that they are connected to a reliable internet source and that they are using the most current app version, try the following (in order):
    1. Hard-close the app. This refreshes the app's connection to our servers.
      • On Apple: double-tap the home button and swipe the little app window off the screen.
      • On Android: tap the apps button and swipe the little app window off the screen. 
    2. Then go back into the app.
      • Tap the "Home" icon
      • Tap "Sync"
      • Tap the Blue "Sync Now" button 

  4. Are their forms still not sending? Contact support@sitedocs.com for the next steps. 
    • If you are able to provide them with screenshots of what you or your worker are seeing it would be most helpful.
