I Can't Take A Photo Through The Mobile App; The Screen Is Black. What's Wrong?

The first thing to do is to ensure that you have given the SiteDocs app permission to access your device's camera.

On an Apple device:

1. Tap on your device's Settings icon
2. From that first settings page scroll down until you find "SiteDocs" and tap on the icon
3. Once that opens it will show a list of things that your device has allowed SiteDocs to access - the Camera option should be toggled to green

On an Android device:

1. Tap on your device's Settings icon
2. Tap on the" Apps" menu
3. Scroll until you find "SiteDocs" and tap on the icon
4. Once that opens, tap on "Permissions". The camera icon should be toggled to blue

If the camera icon is not toggled "on," that is indicating that the app has not been allowed to access your camera and would result in a black screen when trying to add a photo.
