What is SWMS?

SWMS stands for Safe Work Method Statements. According to Safe Work Australia, A SWMS is a document that sets out the high-risk construction work activities to be carried out at a workplace, the hazards arising from these activities and the measures to be put in place to control the risks.

How can SiteDocs Forms help?

SWMS Documents can be added to a Form in SiteDocs by using the "Insert PDFs" Form Item.

This allows a SiteDocs User to upload a PDF into their Form either from their device's storage or from your Resource Library. This means that once the SWMS Form has been filled out, the PDF Copy can be uploaded to SiteDocs to be signed and stored.

You can even use the Form Builder to add more information to the Form so that if something has changed since the original SWMS was filled out, you can add that information alongside the PDF. If you make the Section repeatable you can even record several Tasks, Hazards, and Controls.
