When a Worker is given App Access, they have the ability to fill out and sign documents. However, you can also allow them to perform other actions by assigning them Permissions through a Permission Profile.
Why are they important?
Permission Profiles are a great tool to help you control which Workers are able to view, change, or create information from the App.
For instance, if everyone had the ability to create new Workers, you could end up with duplicate Worker Profiles. Permission Profiles allow you to give this ability to some of your Workers (like Supervisors) but limit it to people who don't need that ability.
Where do I edit Permission Profiles?
You can create and edit Permission Profiles on the Admin Panel under Setup -> Permission Profiles
