How to Request a Signature

Follow

After a Form or Resource has been signed, a Mobile or Web App user can request a signature from another worker.

  1. Select “Request Signature” at the bottom of the Document in question.

  2. Select the worker that needs to sign the Document.

Note: if the user selects a Worker with No Mobile Access, the Signature Request is still created, but that Worker will not get any sort of notification from SiteDocs.
  3. Select the Date and Time the Signature is due.

When a Signature is requested, SiteDocs will send a push notification through Chat of the Signature request to the Worker and add a task to the ‘To-Do’ section of their app. There will also be an indicator added to the bottom of the Form to whose Signature has been requested.

When a Worker is ready to sign off they can simply tap the Signature task in their To-Do Section and the App will automatically load the Form that needs their Signature.

Every requested Signature is visible to managers in the Safety Monitor so they can see any missed or overdue Signatures at a glance.

Why Can't I See the "Request Signature" Button?

If the Form you are signing is a Private Form, only Workers with Permission to request Signatures on a Private Form can use the Request Signature feature. If you need this Permission enabled, please contact an Administrator for your SiteDocs account.

Can you make the time optional?
