Sending Notifications With The SiteDocs Module

The SiteDocs Module contains 3 connectors that pertain to Sending Notifications:

Send an SMS

Allows users to send automated text messages to mobile phone numbers from SiteDocs' designated phone number.

Note that for all phone numbers country codes are required. In addition:
For North America the required prefix of 1 or +1, and doing a string of numbers with no spaces eg 1604xxxxxxx

For Australian mobile numbers that are comprised of 04xx xxx xxx, international dial code +61.
+61 04 does not work, but +61 4xx works as expected.

Pro Tip:
Using the Tools Module with the Set Variable connector, you can parse the Mobile Number as a string and in the Send SMS module add the prefix for +1 or 1 and then map in the string of numbers. This means Worker Profiles can have whatever input an Admin chooses.

Send Email

Allows users to send automated emails to email addresses from noreply@sitedocs.com.

Please note: As the address implies, this inbox is not monitored and so replies will not be read.

 

Send Chat Bot Message

Allows users to send automated SiteDocs Chat Messages from our SiteDocs Bot.

Please note: Workers must be connected to the internet to receive Chat Messages.
